JOSEPH BREALL
Joseph M. Breall is a founding partner of BREALL & BREALL, LLP. Mr. Breall has extensive courtroom experience successfully championing his clients’ cases from pre-trial hearings through trial verdicts and judgments. Mr. Breall has over twenty years experience in complex civil litigation and criminal defense. The majority of Mr. Breall’s civil practice involves disputes over multi-million dollar claims.
Mr. Breall’s case actions and settlements have been featured in articles in the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco Business Times, the Ming Pao Daily News, and The Recorder regarding a wide spectrum of subjects such as Anti-SLAPP suits, ADA rights, City planning issues, wrongful Ellis Act evictions, and first Amendments Rights for religious minorities.
Mr. Breall has also spent extensive time working on pro-bono cases, including dog owners’ rights to secure an off-leash policy at the Fort Funston National Park; and the right to allow the Falun Gong admittance to the annual San Francisco Chinese New Year Street Fair. Mr. Breall also has represented numerous arts organizations including S.F. Cameraworks.
Mr. Breall is a graduate of University of California Berkeley with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Art History and is a graduate of University of California Hastings College of the Law. He is a former senior attorney at Bronson, Bronson, & McKinnon. Mr. Breall is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California. Mr. Breall is also a brown belt in Ensin Karate.
SOPHIE BREALL
Sophie A. Breall is a founding partner of BREALL & BREALL, LLP. Ms. Breall has over 19 years experience in Workers’ Compensation and employment law throughout Northern California. She has successfully litigated cases through both the Workers’ Compensation system and the trial courts, and negotiated settlements in FEHA cases. Ms. Breall has had success with cases all the way up to the California Court of Appeal.
Ms. Breall has been chosen as a “Woman of Excellence” with the National Association of Professional & Executive Women and is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association. She is also a member of the Independent Review Board at St. Francis Hospital in San Francisco.
Ms. Breall has lectured throughout the state on Workers’ Compensation and employment issues, including new changes to Workers’ Compensation laws and how best to resolve disputes early and successfully.
Ms. Breall is a graduate of University of California Hastings College of the Law. She has over six years of experience working as house counsel for CIGA Insurance and CNA Insurance and was a Deputy City Attorney in the City and County of San Francisco.
BILL PARRISH
Bill Parrish is of counsel to BREALL & BREALL, LLP. Mr. Parrish has over 45 years of experience specializing in Workers’ Compensation, asbestos litigation and Longshore and Harborworkers Union law.
Mr. Parrish is a graduate of University of California Hastings College of the Law.
